I have officially registered to do the Tough Mudder on Aug 18.
For those of you who don’t know what it is:
“Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. “ -Taken from the official TM website
I knew obstacle courses like this existed for awhile now, but never really trained or had the guts to even consider doing one. Well, I’M DOING IT THIS YEAR! I began doing crossfit quite vigorously in preparation for the TM. However, starting today, I’ll be doing some intensive strength training (upper/lower) as well. I’ll definitely need the upper body strength to get through some of the obstacles.

I can’t wait to jump into a huge pool of ice, crawl under barbed wires, climb and jump over 10ft walls, and run through fire and electrical wires.
